Boulder, Colo., Jan. 18, 2012. DCL International (Concord, Canada) has partnered with H+H Umwelt und Industrietechnik (Hargesheim, Germany) to form AeriNOx Inc., an environmental engineering company specializing in reducing exhaust gas emissions from stationary diesel and natural gas engines operating in the US and Canada. AeriNOx provides comprehensive emissions compliance solutions by integrating Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) Systems from H+H with Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) and Oxidation Catalyst technologies from DCL.
The increasingly stringent emission regulations targeting stationary diesel and natural gas engines continues to drive the use of emissions control systems on both new and existing engines. AeriNOx combines DCL’s expertise in reducing particulates, hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide with H+H’s extensive knowledge in NOx reduction, resulting in systems that reduce emissions as much as 98%. This enables customers to be compliant with most regulatory requirements throughout the United States and Canada.
AeriNOx takes advantage of DCL’s and H+H’s broad base of experience in SCR applications, including distributed power generation, petroleum exploration and development, natural gas compression and transmission, marine and ferry transportation, as well as industrial and chemical processing.
“H+H has been in the NOx reduction business since the early days of SCR technology”, said Michael Heck, Managing Director of H+H. “We have more than 800 systems successfully installed throughout the world, and we’re one of the largest suppliers to the marine and power generation markets in Europe. By partnering with DCL to form AeriNOx, we strengthen our ability to help customers in North America with systems that have demonstrated hundreds of thousands of hours of operation.”
“DCL’s heritage is to provide technologically superior products to reduce emissions from our customers’ fleet of machines and engines” says George Swiatek, President of DCL. “With AeriNOx, we extend our capability to include NOx emissions, building off of H+H’s decades of experience and expertise in SCR. This allows our customers to comply with Federal and local regulations with a fully integrated product source that is more reliable, more robust in aggressive environments, and ultimately lower cost.”
In addition to world-class products, AeriNOx provides engineering services that allow customers to maintain compliance for many years of operation. These include the “AeriNOx Emissions Guarantee” that warrants stack emissions required by operating permits, data logging for compliance reporting, online emissions monitoring for remote access, catalyst efficiency analysis, and service agreements that take care of all required system maintenance.
“Customers want to comply with the regulations at the lowest possible cost, yet with reliable products that require little maintenance,” says Michael Readey, former Managing Director of AeriNOx. “At AeriNOx, we’re leveraging DCL’s and H+H’s more than 5 decades of collective field experience and product knowledge. This gives our customers the peace of mind they demand, allowing them to focus on the more important aspects of their business.”
