In a greenhouse, SCR is not only about the permit — it is about the crop. NOx is phytotoxic, and exhaust redirected into a growing environment has to be cleaned to a far tighter standard than exhaust sent up a stack. Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) does the heavy lifting on NOx and is the reason CO₂ enrichment from engine exhaust is possible at all. 

AERINOX builds SCR systems for the natural gas CHP and distributed generation engines greenhouses run on — single-site nurseries through multi-acre commercial operations. Our SCR technology comes through H+H Engineering, one of the largest SCR suppliers to the greenhouse market worldwide, so the systems are purpose-built for enrichment duty rather than adapted from a power-generation product.

CO Enrichment

Around the SCR core we integrate Oxidation Catalysts (Oxicats) to control CO, VOC, and ethylene, so treated exhaust can be safely redirected into the greenhouse for CO₂ fertilization. Growers get the plant-growth benefit of engine-generated CO₂ without risking crop integrity — with continuous logging of NOx, ammonia slip, and dosing so you can document exactly what is entering the growing environment, while still meeting EPA standards and regional requirements.
